Ways To Get Pregnant
If you are looking for ways to get pregnant, you've come to the right place. When I was trying to get pregnant, it was quite an uphill battle, and I spent many months researching the best ways to optimize my chances of getting pregnant. I will share some of what I found here...
Ways To Get Pregnant: Timing
The number one mistake couples make when trying to conceive is improper timing of intercourse. It's actually not too hard to believe, when you think about it. Women spend much of their adult lives trying not to get pregnant, so it's no wonder they don't have the necessary information on ways to get pregnant when they decide to have a baby. Many women mistakenly think that the way to get pregnant is to have intercourse on day 14 of their cycle, thinking that this is the day that they ovulate. Unfortunately, if you follow this guideline, it is likely that you will not be maximizing your chances of conception.
Many women do not ovulate on day 14, some ovulate several days earlier and some several days later. The most important thing is to figure out when you ovulate and there are a variety of methods to do this.
Ways To Get Pregnant: Cervical Fluid
One of the easiest ways to determine when you are ovulating is to monitor your cervical mucus (fluid). Most women have no idea about the changes to their cervical fluid until they are looking for ways to get pregnant. It turns out that the cervical fluid changes quite dramatically during the course of your monthly cycle. Prior to ovulation, it goes from a dry, sticky substance, to a wetter more creamy texture. As you approach your fertile time, the cervical fluid becomes clear and stretchy, very similar to raw eggwhites. When you notice this consistency, you should begin to have intercourse either every day or every other day until you have ovulated. The clear, stretchy cervical fluid is most abundant when you are about to ovulate and will change texture almost immediately after you've ovulated. So continue to have sex until you notice that the texture is no longer clear and stretchy.
If you closely monitor your cervical fluid, you will find that you can pretty accurately determine your fertile "window of opportunity" and can time intercourse accordingly. This will greatly improve your chances of getting pregnant.
